Limpet Technology - Pioneering Total Height Safety
03 May 2011

European road trip

Two of Limpet's technical sales team will be taking to the roads in mid May on a trip around Europe, visiting prospective clients.

Stuart Robertson and Ian Fenwick will be taking our brand new demonstration unit to Belgium, Holland and Germany to give companies a hands-on demonstration of the Limpet™ in use.

The basic features of the Limpet™ - proactive fall prevention, Intelligent Climb Assist™, rapid remote rescue, as well as 'clip & go' evacuation and precise work postioning functions - provide many benefits when working at height. Broadly these can be identified as increased productivity, reduced lifecycle and maintenance costs, and increased reliability, while also providing a safer working environment and reduced occupational health hazards for those working at height.

As a company, experience has shown us that no amount of literature can compete with the understanding you walk away with after trying the system yourself. Around 300 work-at-height personnel go through training at Heightec (a Renewable UK approved training provider) in Kendal each month. Our system has been installed and incorporated into the height access course for over eight months now and the comments from personnel being trained on the system are very positive…

“Once I used the Limpet™ system I found it very impressive”

“The impact on the effort of climbing and how it could be very useful in the event of a fall or accident in a wind turbine”

"Very intelligent piece of kit for both rescue and climb assist".

To arrange a demonstration of the Limpet™, please email us info@limpettechnology.com or call a member of the team on 0131 551 2727.
