INNOVATIVE ACCESS SYSTEMS & THiNC BRING LIMPET® TO LINKIN PARK16 December 2014
Limpet Technology is building on its success in the US staged entertainment market, adding Seattle based THiNC Worldwide to its customer base. Limpet partner, Innovative Access Systems Inc. secured the deal which will see THiNC use the systems on the Linkin Park tour of North America and Europe. Kicking off in the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida on the 8th of August, touring Europe in Nov-Dec, and finishing up after 7 months in Edmonton Canada the Limpet® L5 units will be used as a fall recovery system and as well as the main access and safety systems for the follow spot light operators to reach their positions high above the stage. Frank Aguirre, President of Innovative Access Systems commented, “Having seen Limpet used on the Muse 2nd Law tour, the set designer became a convert to the benefits of the system and specified their use on the Linkin Park set.
